SIGHTS AND SMELLS OF MINISTRY ON THE EASTERN FRONT
We are privileged to
see, smell, hear, taste, and touch all kinds of things in this ministry that are new and
different. I thought you might want to be included in these experiences
at
least from 10,000 miles away. One plane ticket will put you in the middle of all of
this.

HARD TO BEAT
Notice photo # SR4201.
No one under 40 years of age in America has ever seen this. This is the
equivalent of a Romanian vacuum cleaner. I used to do this for my mom when I was a
kid but you never see this in America.
Notice Photo #
SR4202. How long has it been since youve seen 35 people including teenagers
crowd into a room 10X12 and fill the entrance hallway to hear preaching?
Ishtvan is preaching in Hungarian. I was backed into a corner of the room
with my accordion so I could not capture the full affect with my camera.
Notice Photo #
SR4203 and SR4204. Can you even imagine all 35 of these people struggling to find a
place on the floor for both their knees as a request for prayer comes from the preacher?
Again the camera and position are not sufficient to give the full
affect.
Notice Photo #
SR 4205. Have you ever seen a more beautiful Hungarian Christian countenance than
the lady on the far left who insisted on all 35 people to gather into her home on a very
muddy day?
Last week I was
privileged to do what I like to do best. Our family traveled to a small city just 30
minutes from Brasov to train a church for publick ministry. The pastor and church
had never experienced publick ministry before and for all we could tell the city of Sfuntu
Gheorghe (Saint George) was fresh to it also. We came in on a Saturday and held
their first street meeting in front of a super market. No police encounter but the
security guards had a time of it. I preached and the Romanian pastor interpreted and
several listened. Robin spoke to the ladies on Saturday night and I taught SS and
preached the AM service. The pastor told us that they had plans to include this
ministry as part of their regular schedule. Praise the Lord. Pray for this
city and the good pastor Marion Stefan.
