| SWAT REPORT # 61 07-24-06 Amos 7:12 Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there: Amos 7:13 But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court. 2Thess. 3:1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: 2Thess. 3:2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. PRAY FOR DELIVERANCE In photo #6101 you will see yet another police encounter. If I never have another police encounter as long as I live it will have been way too many. I know street preachers who enjoy and look forward to these necessary evils but all of these guys are weird. Wednesday night I preached on 2 Thess. 3:1,2. I mentioned how verse 2 was associated with the subject in verse 1 about the Word of God having free course and that those who would seek to hinder that free course are referred to in verse 2 as unreasonable and wicked. I also pointed out that this prayer request and struggle was not anything new but that Amos had the exact same battle several hundred years before Jesus Christ. The next day Bro. Logan and myself and some of our men spent 3 ½ hours in city hall and the mayor's office trying to win free course. The mayor, like all fine politicians spoke out of both sides of his mouth. He told us we could preach anywhere but when he writes the permit it is anywhere but the "kings chapel or court." We have gone several extra miles in our attempt to settle this thing peaceably but like David said, Psa 120:7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. At the present time the police will not pursue anything against any Americans maybe for many reasons but they immediately approach the Romanian guys preaching and singing with us to give them a very hard time legally. It is very hypocritical and everyone knows it. Pray for deliverance. Thanks RACOS INITIATION See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? Act 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Photo #6104, is the latest group to be baptized. What a great service we had on the river among the naked heathen natives. They had never seen it on this wise we had about 40 folk from our church including those baptized singing, rejoicing and giving testimony and just having a marvelous and righteous time. These have all been saved through our ministry and are a part of our ministry. Some can only come Sunday AM and others are faithful to all. Notice photo #6105 this is Daniel you have seen him in other photos preaching and as a student in the institute. He is a genuine blessing. We asked him to give a testimony before he was baptized and he preached for about 4-5 minutes he is instant and will go till you cut your throat to stop. His daughter is second from right in 6104 pray for these fine folk his wife and her mother has been living in Italy for over 3 years and the situation is not good. Daniel is raising Alexandra on his own. Welcome to dysfunctional Laodicea.
